Police Provide Details on 27-year-old Mitrovica Murder

According to police, the deceased person is 27 years old, while two people currently are being treated in hospital.

To suspects St. A., 35, with the decision of the prosecutor, has been assigned police ban.

The victim's lifeless body has been sent to IML.

Mitrovica, April 17th, 2021

Today, April 17th, 2021, around 11:30, police in Mitrovica have accepted the tip of shooting gunfire on the street of Adem Voca possibly at the Green Market in South Mitrovica, respectively. Upon accepting the information, all necessary police units have emerged at the scene of the emergency event.

From the first information from the site of the event, it is understood that four civilian persons were involved in the event, resulting in gunfire by the Kosovo male suspect, three persons were injured who were urgently sent to the Regional Hospital in Mitrovica.

Meanwhile, hospital authorities have reported that one of the injured, victim V. F., 27, had died as a result of the injuries, while the other two wounded continue to be in medical treatment.

The suspected person who allegedly fired a gun has been arrested, the same is being offered medical treatment.

From investigations conducted so far, one of the injured has accidentally suffered injuries. While at the scene after the examinations were conducted, police investigators as material evidence have found and seized a weapon (myth), three (3) shelling and other related material evidence.
