Photographs, maps, and drawings used during interviews are given to lawyers: Special Prosecutors Charged

Jakup Krasniqi's lawyer at The Hague, Venkateswari Alagedra, has come to the side of Hashim Thaci's defence over the latter's parachutes dealing with dissatisfaction with the conduct of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office. The defense of former KLA leaders is claiming that the Special Prosecution by its actions is [...]
Six front pages have been sent to the Court by Jakup Krasniqi's lawyer, Venkateswari Alagedra. Through the same, she has expressed her indignation at the process of uncovering material from the specialised Prosecutor's Office, writes news.
The dissatisfaction is linked to documents, photographs, maps or drawings that were shown during the interview of witnesses or accused, and the same material has not been handed over to or even to defence. In this form, lawyers consider it impossible to design the credibility of a certain witness's response when these documents have not been shown protection.
“When documents were shown by the SPS to a witness (or an accused) during an interview, it is impossible for defence to complete the review of the interview without reviewing the documents. The defence cannot assess the credibility of a witness's response to a document without being able to analyse it against the content of the document itself. Moreover, the document itself is likely to be very material for defence investigations and could provide additional lines of investigation for the author or recipient of the document. The full discovery of the interview requires the discovery of documents referred to during the interview”, said in the parliament of Jakup Krasniqi's lawyer.
The other attorney's complaint in question concerns the fact that the Prosecution has not classified and fully identified its materials in the ERN system that are used for finding the material on the sides. This, according to Jakup Krasniqi's lawyer, is causing unnecessary delays for hours to find specific documents.
The number of hours spent in search of documents in this way is considerable. This waste of time would be avoided if (1) all documents submitted during the witness's interview were discovered simultaneously with the interview (subjection, of course, at (readed) and (2) full ERN numbers or some other index were provided so that defence could have a means to identify which precise documents were shown to which witness”, the lawyer of the former head of the Parliament said further.
I follow, as Thaci's joint defence request and Krasniqi has demanded that materials shown to an accused during the interview be discovered on a two-week basis, while those shown to a witness within 28 days.
Such a request, reported to the news.net, has been handed over to Hashim Thaci's attorney. The latter has even described in detail how there are many unintelligible issues during interrogation and then transcription of the interview.
By concrete examples, (readed) accounts explain the events by referring to an undiscovered drawing that describes various monuments and buildings, without which it is impossible to follow this part of his interview; 11 (readed) is asked on the basis of an undiscovered map in which he is asked to mark different positions, directions and to draw different lines with locations, without which it is impossible to follow this part of his interview. (Readed) A series of 10 undiscovered photographs appears, and then a series of 9 undiscovered photos as part of an identification exercise without which these parts of his interviews are meaningless. For example, Updated) claims that <x0 menus were different” or“none of the uniforms are similar” making it impossible to review this evidence without pictures in question. (readed) Shows a wealth of undiscovered material without which it is impossible to follow most of his interview, including video footage of a crime scene identifying various objects and people”, lawyer Hooper has said.
Defense incidents against the Specialised Prosecutor do not stop there. Hashim Thaci's lawyer Hoor has also said that besides other materials that have not been discovered, Z The SP has not done this for even the KLA communiqués, which are owned by the specialised prosecutor as possible evidence.
Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi are now waiting for two months to answer from Special Appeals' Special Chambers for release.
The question of this delay in response had been raised by the lawyers of KLA leaders at the latest Conference on the performance of the case.
