Petkov: Albin Kurti showed his true face, he cares about dialogue

The director of the so-called Kosovo government of Serbia, Petar Petkovovic, said today that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, refusing to participate in dialogue in Brussels on 11 May, indicated that the question of dialogue is not at all on his agenda, nor is it fourth or seventh of priorities, [...]
The Kurti again showed his true face, that he was not interested in dialogue or compromise, but that he had really taken care of creating the so-called Greater Albania”, Petkovic said.
As he says, with his behaviour towards dialogue and Belgrade, Kurti is clearly showing the anti-Serbian stance, but with this, he adds, “ai actually humiliated the EU itself, at its headquarters in Brussels, where an agreement was reached eight years ago”.
“What would happen if Belgrade refused to participate in continuing dialogue on May 11th? What kind of sanctions would Belgrade suffer? Pristina is always seen below”, Petkov said.
That is why, he says, the international community and the EU, according to him now they must pressure Kosovo so that the dialogue can continue.
“Belgrade is ready and wants to participate in the dialogue. We are ready to continue and negotiate tomorrow, because this is the only way to achieve a compromise solution”, Petkovic said.
He added that Kurt is not interested in a compromise solution either.
Kosovo Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has said before the media in Brussels that he will not participate in the May 11th meeting under the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, warned by European Union for Foreign Policy and Security High Representative Josep Borrell.
