Cajtazi has demanded this meeting after the Government's decision not to continue giving additions to this category.
According to him, if this trend continues, there is nothing left to do but take measures to strike and protest.
This decision has been surprising to the fact that there are 180 thousand pensioners in Kosovo, there are 140 thousand basic pensioners who receive social retirement. So this decision has greatly influenced their moods, and they are disappointed with this decision. Maybe the government thought it was a long time ago raising 10 euros. 10 euros is no value to basic pensioners because they have 90 euros added another 10 euros that is no basis for their lives”, he told EO.
He added that he has requested faster contact with the prime minister and minister of finance and transfers.
Now pensioners are forgotten and this government doesn't do well to leave my pensioners in this situation. We've missed the protests but we've come to a position that they're not understanding. If this trend towards the care of pensioners remains nothing more than to take measures to protest and strike”, Cajazi added.
He said pensioners in Kosovo are in a difficult material and psychic state.
