Peja prosecution makes decision for suspects who introduced marijuana to Dubrava prison

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec, the Department of Internal Crimes, reports that following the investigation action company in co-ordination with the Kosovo Police, with the Special Investigation Unit in Pec, and in co-operation with officials of the Dubrava Prison Correcting Centre, they have been arrested and detained for 48 hours respectively. The Peja Narcotics Trafficking Investigation Unit had initially accepted information from officials of the Dubrava Prison Corresponding Service that during inspection (within prison spaces) it faced a bag of marijuana-type narcotics, in quantities of 82 grams, divided into 61 small packages.
“In co-ordination with the State Prosecutor from the Department of Criminals at the Founding Prosecutor's Office in Pec, the case has been initiated and authorized the Narcotics Trafficking Investigation Unit in Pec for the takeover of investigative acts and, on April 23rd of this year, as a result of the secret surveillance, two suspected persons have been identified, while the same men had then thrown into prison space of 384 grams of marijuana-like narcotics.
At the request of the Basic Prosecutor in Pec, the respective police units have implemented the court's order, in which case two locations of the suspects' houses have been raided, and at the same time tools suspected of being used to carry out this criminal act”, the prosecution reports.
The state prosecutor has detained two suspects for 48 hours for high-ranking criminal work, and within the legal deadline will apply for the appointment of the detention measure.
