PDK Parliamentary Group chief Abelard Tahiri has held today a media conference in the court of the Kosovo Parliament, where he has voiced concern about the departure of Prime Minister Albin Kurti from the urgent responsibilities Kosovo has.
Tahiri said that Kosovo's prime minister, instead of dealing with the pandemic and its ruined economy, has isolated Kosovo and has gone to Albania to participate in election campaigns.
The chief of the PDK Parliamentary Group has called this lack of responsibility, lack of skill and lack of knowledge.
Unfortunately, in the last 20 days alone, 212 citizens have lost their lives in battle with the virus. In addition to a small aid, the government has provided no vaccine. The only thing Prime Minister Kurti has undertaken so far has been an order for isolation for Kosovo citizens, while his party's ministers and MPs have broken the siege and have gone out to Albania to campaign election.
“Prime Minister Kurti has been vaccinated himself, and he feels comfortable with the fact that he has accepted 25 thousand donation vaccines ) a help provided by the last government, but has not taken a step to provide hundreds of thousands of other vaccines that need Kosovo citizens more than ever, Tahiri has said.
