Through a Facebook post, the secretary of this organisation, Faton Klinkaku, has said that the KLA and its members cannot be protected by word of mouth from anyone or even by president.
He says the KLA should be protected by concrete acts such as law and its implementation with sublaw acts.

The KLA is facing Serbia in Kosovo's Kurdish tribunal in The Hague, while the heads of state and responsible institutions make “Ehir” in the pursuit and trial of crimes, massacres and genocide caused by Serbia and Serbs.
