Osmani urges France to support visa liberalisation

President Osmani has highlighted the need for international solidarity for the realisation of the key priority of Kosovo's new institutions in managing the COVID-19 pandemic, stressing the importance of securing the vaccine faster for all citizens of the country.

Osmani has asked the French state to support visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens, taking into account that all criteria related to the visa liberalisation process have been met by Kosovo institutions.

Ambassador Boutel has confirmed France's commitment to co-operation and further support, expressing readiness to deepen co-operation in new areas of common interest.

According to a Community of Presidencys, Osman and Ambassador Butel have discussed deepening co-operation between the two states in the areas of rule of law, defence and the economy.

President Osmani has thanked France's ambassador for the support the French state has offered for the Republic of Kosovo over the years and has assured that the strategic orientation of the Republic of Kosovo remains membership in the European Union.
