The 22nd anniversary of the Kostunica Battle brought together three institutional leaders. President Vjosa Osmani, Chief Prime Minister Galuk Konjufca and Prime Minister Albin Kurti laid flower wreaths and homazed at the Memorial “Koser's witness”. The three praised the importance of this battle for the liberation of the country and said that the foundations of citizenship stem from this country as well.
The first of the state, Vjosa Osmani, said it is a debt of institutions that the sublimate sacrifice of martyrs transform into a strengthening of the state.
So even this country that we enjoy has such a strong foundation because it's built on the blood of all the martyrs who are being remembered together today. It's our duty, it's our debt, so those who made their subliance for freedom so today the state can strengthen to do what all of the nation's martyrs dreamed of and make it so that all of our citizens will be proud of it”, she said.
The fierce fight in this battle was commemorated by Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca, who said the collapse of the border showed that the Albanian nation in the liberation war is united and is one.

Meanwhile, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that Kostare's April 9th is evidence of Kosovo's history.
