Osman and Konjufca pay their respects in Mej: Finding Our Priorities

Kosovo's president and chief parliamentmen have been visiting the anniversary of the massacre in Meja, Gjakova. Those near the memorial complex in this country have sought justice for over 370 killed.

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani said that today she is commemorating all those who have fallen as martyrs for today's freedom.

Meja is Kosovo's Srebrenica. Meja is the most powerful testimony to the genocide that took place in Kosovo and was carried out by Serbian forces, by the Serbian state apparatus. They were killed during the Serbian operation in the Meja massacre. 376 innocent boys and men were killed in the worst manner, massacred, and some found at the cemetery in Serbia. The head of state added that the country's freedom makes sense, only when there will be justice for all those killed by the Serbian state machine.

And Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca said the massacre in Meja shows the most genocide act Serbia has committed in Kosovo. According to him, who visits Meya is clear that the Serbian state has committed genocide in Kosovo.

“Picture is greater because justice has never had for Meja's fallen. Since even in those few court processes where 4 or 5 police officers have been convicted, the measure of those who directly participated in the massacre is greater. Furthermore, Konjufca stressed that the tendency of the state that committed genocide in Kosovo was for troops never to be found. For that, he declared that the Serbian aggressor should be even more responsible for all crimes.

Many graves are open in the Meja of Gjakova. Still unknown is the fate of 13 people until there is no justice for 376 of the massacre.
