Organization E C Ma different criticises Kurt and Osman

Organization E C Ma otherwise has criticised Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osman for neglecting the treatment of cultural heritage monuments, as Europa Nostra has decided to put the Decani Monastery on the list of Europe's 7 most endangered monuments for 2021.

This organisation has urged the state of Kosovo to be more active in relation to its cultural heritage and international presentation.

“In the new government formation period, there was no public response that we have knowledge of but also any potential communication with Europe Nostra that the Decani Monastery will not be placed on the final list of the 7 most endangered locations.”, says E response C Ma different.

According to them, this shows enormous responsibility for an important topic for the country, given the potential of damage that could trigger such an announcement in the process of dialogue and normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

“EC Ma otherwise appeals to state institutions, in particular to the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports to be more active and to deal with identifying and preventing possible inheritance management problems, in the concrete case of the Serbian community's heritage, as the consequences of apparent neglect can provide a distorted image of reality on the ground. Kosovo, with its newly formed institutions, should be in the highest responsibility of its task and establish sustainable policies by controlling the situation in the country, rather than responding to the consequences after they have occurred.”, the organisation's response is said.
