The biggest competition for clubs in Europe will have some changes, which will be implemented by 2024.
The European football house has announced that from the edition 2024/25, there will be 36 instead of 32 participating clubs.

New place for elite clubs that have failed to qualify from competitions to respective leagues.
A league instead of group phase.
The top eight will reach the group stage.
Other teams will have the chance to qualify through the paly-off phase.
Each club will be guaranteed by ten matches, raising revenues.
