NASA Earth teams received a black and white picture of Mars' surface. Then Ingenuity returned to the departure site after 80 seconds of flight.
NASA has said that the recorded material during flight will be sent to Earth in the days ahead.
This agency is also planning other flights with this helicopter in the future to observe the red planet's terrain and to provide instructions for spacecrafts or astronauts.
This helicopter arrived in March in the middle of February through the Persian space probe. The helicopter weighing 1.8kg is considered a powerful technological weapon in NASA's hands, intended to test flights to the rare atmosphere of the planet.
In the future, helicopters can be used to find the way forward for probes and astronauts and to observe difficult places to reach. On April 19, this helicopter made its first flight controlled by another planet.
