Milaku has expressed readiness to compete in local elections as Prizren chairman. The Vetevendosje movement has yet to come up with a decision clarifying who their candidate will be to regain the municipality that is currently ruling.
“On the eve of the autumn local elections ahead of the Movement's bodies, and before activists I want to submit my candidacy for the mayor of Prizren”, Millaku wrote.
On the other hand, we remember that actually the mayor of Prizren is Mytaher Haskuka. It remains to be seen whether the VV will continue with Haskuka or Milak, if no one else declares candidacy.
Below, find Millac's complete writing:
Throughout history, the Albanian woman fought for everything. She fought for her voice to follow you on every path where she walked and left a trail that will never perish. He fought for freedom, equality and justice, schooling and emancipation. She fought to convince society of her worth.
For coming today I was elected to the leading elites of our society and state.
Ever since I got into politics, I've realized that you can't leave a trail of success if you don't face injustice and if you don't try to win over these injustices. I have also come to realize that the more I am grateful, the more I appreciate and appreciate them, the more my surroundings and the respect of friends and activists grow.
On February 14th, I as a woman and mother, the candidate for deputy of the winning Vetevendosje list, am proud to be part of the fantastic group of women of Movement that we managed to challenge any prejudice, to be highly honoured by popular votes.
Efforts to continue to succeed and the demands of many friends and activists of the Movement give me courage and courage to take the next step.
On the eve of the autumn local elections before the bodies of the Movement, and before activists I want to present my candidacy for the mayor of Prizren.
I love Prizren, every alley, every neighborhood, every village of it. I live each day near history, harmony, culture, and tradition of this historic city.
If I am given the opportunity to compete as a Movement candidate, I promise and pledge that with my whole being, I will devote myself to serving honestly all the citizens of Prizren, regardless of region, nationality and religion.
I would be willing to form a team of success by extending the hand of cooperation to the best people in this country, to historians, to professors, to archaeologists, to architects, to engineers, to engineers, to economists, to lawyers, to doctors, to artists, to farmers...
I would be willing to cooperate closely with all representatives of civil society, religious representatives, and the diaspora.
I'd be willing to be an open door for any disturbance, suggestion, criticism and otherwise civic opinion.
My personal objective would be to unite different skills, values and ideas to create something wonderful together.
Respectfully
