Defence Minister Armend Mehaj, accompanied by the KSF's inspector-in-chief, Major General Union Jashari hosted KFOR commander Major General Franco Federic today.
General Federic expressed his high assessment of the completion of the Ministry of Defence and KSF's achievements, the professionalism proven, as well as the high level of up-to-date co-operation in many areas between KFOR and KSF.
For his part, Minister Mehaj expressed thanks for the visit, as well as gratitude for KFOR's mission in the country's security service, as well as regional security.
Minister Mehaji assured General Federic that the defence ministry will be the host of contemporary defence policies on the basis of NATO integration concept.
Among other things, Minister Mehaj stressed that the KSF will continue advancing the skills and operational capacities needed for the fulfillment of the mission and its mandate.
At the end both agreed to intensify co-operation and bilateral co-ordination on issues of common interest.
