The president of the Republic of France, Emmanuel Macron, has congratulated Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti on forming the government and has wanted success in the prime minister's office.
In his letter of congratulations, President Macro has written to Prime Minister Kurti that by voting for the list he led during the February 14th elections, the majority of voters who participated in the vote expressed their desire for change.
“I know you intend to implement fundamental reforms that your fellow citizens are asking for: strengthening the rule of law, as well as the economic and social development of Kosovo”, the President Macron wrote. Here, he has said, the fight against pandemic, which should have immediate priorities, at the time when Kosovo is being seriously affected, and when the European Union is mobilised to help countries in the region cope with the health crisis and its consequences. The French president has given his support to Prime Minister Kurti for all priorities for the benefit of Kosovars. He has also offered his support for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, which, according to him, should end with a comprehensive agreement.
At the end of the wish, President Emmanuel Macron has said he would be very happy to welcome Prime Minister Kurti to visit to Paris soon.
