In an interview for the Italian newspaper “Il Messaggero”, head of the firm vaccine strategy in EMA, Marco Cavaller, has said that “is clearly related to vaccine”, but that there is still uncertainty about exactly what is causing such a reaction.
Cavaller said that among the youngest vaccinated there were more cases of thrombosis than expected.
He suggested that EMA should issue a statement on this situation.
