Lama said that those who receive Albanian citizenship are not denied the right to vote because it is a constitutional right.
She at Info Magazine in Klan Kosova said there is a difference between ordinary citizens and those who hold high political positions.
“Date is between a public figure that holds public office and ordinary citizens. Realistically anyone who receives Albanian citizenship has the constitutional right, no one can deny it to vote. The question is what message does it convey?
For more than one of these officials' votes, including Prime Minister Kurti, some ministers and others, I see the problem of interference of a political subject there, such as the Vetevendosje Movement, which is the subsidiary of the Vetevendosje Movement in Kosovo and Mr. Kurti himself as leader of this movement has made himself a party, or competitors in the election process in Albania, which is something heavier than the vote and does not bring a good message, because he takes a stand, take sides of”.
The former Parliament delegation stressed that Kurti's vote is intervention in the electoral process of another state.
The fact that doesn't take a neutral stance on political parties which, regardless of who wins tomorrow, should sit ahead on the table and move forward the co-operation agenda between Kosovo and Albania, and regulate these reports”.
“Intervention of one state and representatives of another state in the electoral process of another state I think is wrong. We are brothers, we are a nation. But I consider it an intervention to participate in elections in Albania”.
