LVV MP Mimoza Kusari-Lila has declared they have managed to secure 81 votes for the president's election.
She has said some MPs have reflected that they are convinced that today it will end “drama” for choosing the head of state.
“We have had circumstances under which MPs have reflected and have expressed readiness to vote today. Today we can have 81 votes present in the ballot box for President Vjosa Osmani ... the two deputies of non-Serb minority parties have confirmed that they will have participants in the hearings until we have communicated with Xhavit Halit”, she said.
The hearing for the president was first to begin at 5:00, but has not started so far.
