VV deputy chief Mimoza Kusari-Lila has an indictment by Kosovo Special Prosecutor for the forgiveness of four hydropower plants during the privatisation of the Kosovo Energy Corporation distribution network.
She and 19 other people are accused of overstepping their competencies by voting that some hydropower plants will be transferred to the KIDFE and then privatised.
Meanwhile, Vetevendosje has repeatedly criticised past governments and deputies of the Kosovo Assembly because of persons with the indictment.
Also, the indictment for Kusari Lila occurs on a very sensitive issue such as privatisation of state assets of strategic interest, such as hydropower plants.
Kusari Lila's election in one of the most important positions of power -- that of the party's chief parliamentary group with 58 MPs -- has also criticised Vetevendosje analyst Yusuf Thaci.
In the last elections, Kusari Lila had received over 53 thousand votes, becoming one of the most voted deputies within Vetevendosje's list. However, it has openly and publicly stated its desire to increase and reinforce its political subject, “Alternative”, which it says has “liberal-democratial ideology”.
