Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has finally congratulated Edi Rama's victory in Sunday's elections, in which he even ran his own side with three candidates, Periscopi broadcasts.
But Kurt in this post mentions the irregularities to Rama and asks them to clarify, alluding to the theft of votes to his candidates, as they have stated after the voting process.
Here's the full reaction:
According to preliminary results announced by the CEC in the Republic of Albania, the Socialist Party and Prime Minister Edi Rama have won parliamentary elections. Kosovo cannot without Albania and Albania can't without Kosovo, so I commend Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama for the results, and I wish that together, as Albanians, we will increase the interaction between us in all sectors, as well as we raise European standards in terms of democracy, economic development, justice and prosperity.
At the same time, I wish institutions in Albania to clarify any uncertainty about the electoral process so that no one will be affected by the right to vote, on which representative democracy is founded.
These are the expectations of Albanians, so let's work together.
