In a photo posted by VV deputy Haxhi Avdyli, you see state leaders celebrating after the president is elected.
President Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca are seen in the picture.
Other MPs are also present.
“Bashka with Prime Minister Kurti, Deputy Prime Minister Gervalla, Parliament Speaker Konjufca, minister and deputies, congratulating President Vjosa Osmani . Good day for democracy. Kosovo successfully completes its institutions, and enters the stability phase”, writes Haxhi Avdyli on his Facebook status.
With 71 votes for, none against and 11 invalids, Vjosa Osmani- Sadriu has been elected president of the Republic of Kosovo after the third round. The most voted person in the country, with over 300 thousand votes, has received the majority of votes in Parliament.
Thus, Sunday, April 4, is the day Osman received even officially legitimacy from MPs.
The movement “Vetevendosje” and the non-US community voted for Osman until the former party of the latter, the LDK, enabled the quorum, except for the triple; Agim Veliu, Avdullah Hoti and Driton Selmanaj.
