Ambassador Jusuf congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on his new post and victory in the February 14th elections and conveyed her government's congratulations on her and the people of Kosovo for the democratic election process and new institutions out of the process.
North Macedonia is a friendly neighbouring state and strategic partner of the Republic of Kosovo and its people”, Prime Minister Kurti said.
“Relations and co-operation on the political, trade and economic plains are in service of both countries, and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is dedicated to deepening and expanding them. So in its service, it was agreed to organise a joint meeting of the two governments at an appropriate time, and given the epidemiological situation in the respective countries, where a series of agreements will be signed, including a feasibility study agreement for the Prizren-Tethovo” road, the ZKM communique says.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti also confirmed his participation at the Prespa Summit, scheduled to be held in July of this year.
The meeting also discussed the situation with the David-19 pandemic in the two countries, the measures undertaken by governments to stop and reduce the trend of infection, maintain the vaccine process and continue to provide new doses of vaccines against Avid-19.
