In his status, he says there are no losers tonight.
“Tonight everyone won, the independent state won, the country's citizens won, the republic and democracy, the MPs and parties won the assembly and the government. No losers tonight. Tonight we all won. Because Kosovo won its president, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, who was read the name 71 times in the third round of the Parliament, after 14 February voting on more than 300 thousand citizens”, he wrote.
There's a lot of hard work ahead of us, in the coming days and months, in terms of a multiple crisis, where the pandemic that went up a year ago is just one of them. But together we will succeed, we will succeed together because we will not stop because we will engage and contribute to the overall interest of willpower. Thank you all. We are grateful to each of them”, Kurt added.
With 71 votes for, none against and 11 invalids, Vjosa Osmani- Sadriu has been elected president of the Republic of Kosovo after the third round. The most voted person in the country, with over 300 thousand votes, has received the majority of votes in Parliament.
Thus, Sunday, April 4, is the day Osman received even officially legitimacy from MPs.
The movement “Vetevendosje” and the non-US community voted for Osman until the former party of the latter, the LDK, enabled the quorum, except for the triple; Agim Veliu, Avdullah Hoti and Driton Selmanaj.
