Kurti, by means of Fachebook, has announced that he has held a virtual meeting with candidates for MPs from his party's ranks, as well as with the Albanian community in Italy, not to mention the diaspora.
In these three decades the diaspora has actively and massively contributed to our countries' economy, it has even maintained social peace during the economic crises of our countries, yet it has not had the attention deserved by institutions”, it says in its post.
With the new government in Pristina and the establishment of the Movement in Albania, these meetings will be transformed into common practices to bring closer and mobilise our countrymen out of their homeland”, he has declared, among other things.
Kurti has received criticism from opposition parties against the prioritisation of Albania's internal affairs, putting economic and social problems in Kosovo aside. The LDK deputy chairman, Albanian Medici, has considered “absurde” such a thing.
“In times of economic, social and pandemic crisis rather than come up with a strategy for overcoming this situation, Prime Minister Kurti deals with Albanian domestic affairs by favouring candidates for MPs! The actions of the unprecedented” were declared during yesterday, via Facebook.
