Kurt tells what was discussed at the meeting with the German top diplomat

The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, along with two deputy prime ministers Besnik Bislimi and Donika Grovalla, has met with Minister of Jobs. Foreign to Germany, Heiko Maas.

The German minister has congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on the occasion of taking office of leadership of the Government of Kosovo and has reiterated Germany's support for Kosovo and the new government.

During the meeting, support has been given to the government's goals of reform in rule of law, fighting corruption and organised crime.

The minister said that during Germany's presidency in the European Union, the issue of visa liberalisation for Kosovo was at the helm of the agenda. He confirmed that Germany would commit liberalisation for Kosovo to be realised as soon as Germany's stance is clear, that Kosovo has met all conditions for visa liberalisation.

The topic of the meeting was also the question of dialogue with EU-mediated Serbia, where the chief diplomat confirmed Germany's continued support for dialogue and normalisation of reports between Kosovo and Serbia.

Prime Minister Kurti stressed that the new government guarantees secure investment environment, and that Kosovo would welcome joint investments of German exiles and investors.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Maas discussed concrete steps to co-operation and further between the Republic of Kosovo and Germany.
