“We inform you that Slovakia's position on the issue of Kosovo's independence remains unchanged”, reportedly in the Slovak Embassy's comment in Serbia for B92, presented by the Express newspaper.
This reaction comes after Prime Minister Albin Kurti called from the head of the Interconnecting Office of the Republic of Slovakia in Kosovo, Rastislav Kostilnik, to join other EU states in recognising Kosovo.
Kurti has said Slovakia as a NATO and EU member state to support and push forward Kosovo's membership in the north-Atlantic alliance.
So far, Slovakia has expressed itself systematically against Kosovo's recognition.
