The former Kosovo ambassador to Slovenia and the Vatican said any opening of the debate regarding the Kosovo Embassy's whereabouts in Jerusalem is a dangerous adventure.

I, I, have publicly welcomed the position of Minister Mr. Gerilla that the embassy issue in Israel is a closed issue, and I am pleased that she has said what I have repeatedly stressed that opening any debate on this issue is a dangerous adventure for us”, Berisha told Reporter.net.

Berisha, now part of the LDK, said Israel's recognition is the major achievement of Kosovo.

The former AAK member said Kosovo cannot break relations with Israel because of Palestine.

“Recognition by Israel has been Kosovo's biggest diplomatic achievement in recent years, possibly in the last decade, and open debate has been quite unnecessary. Of course, we cannot give up a world-weight ally what Israel is for the sake of Palestine, which continues to consider Kosovo as part of Serbia, and being among the most vocal even in the world size”, Berisha told Reporter.net.
