Dear citizens,
Last night I was the target of a several portal attack (Metro, Periscopi, Insander, Infocus, and News.net) through a false news story. A picture of February 17 was deliberately misused to present me with an unprecedented dinner.
I yesterday, along with the president and prime minister, was initially in the prayer of the martyrs of Pristina on the occasion of the day being dedicated to them. Then I continued at Adem Demach's tomb and the martyrs who were shot at the head with Africa Zittini. After that, I went to Makoc to honor the fallen people of this country of Gollak. I continued to commemorate the Battle of Marec, where 27 martyrs and 16 martyrs fell heroicly between April 18 and 23, 1999. That same date was also the anniversary of the Duse Kolic massacre and I was there to pay my respects. And I finally went to the village of Ribar in Lipjan, since on April 18, 1999, Serbian armies and police there killed 25 Albanians.
Most of the portals that produced the false news were left out of those real activities. But I'm being described as a lie. This is for pity. I consider, in this way, that I am not personally being attacked, but the state position of the Speaker of the Assembly. To tarnish it.
I can't understand this false news campaign other than the continuation of the war of those who disagree with democratic changes in our country. Political battle must take place on the plains of facts and arguments. False news, however, harms both democracy and journalism.
