Kelmendi case “Vaxins”: We're a police state, the D.A.'s move is a big miss.

Kosovo journalist and moderator, the Adriatic Kelmendi, has reacted after Pristina's Founding Prosecutorate authorized the Police to initiate the case in the direction of criminal work “State of official secrecy”. For Kelmend, this D.A. action is a huge removal. Kelmendi has said that Kosovo is not a police state and should not be allowed to turn [...]
Kelmendi has said Kosovo is not a police state and should not be allowed to turn into one, Express reports.
In his reaction, Kelemendi says that in no democratic state, there is no room for prosecution and police to be the first answer.
But never, ever, in a democratic state, there is no place for the first answer to be the prosecution, and police” wrote Kelmendi.
Full response:
We are not a police state, we must not allow ourselves to become a police state!
It is the biggest defeat that could happen the authorisation that the State Prosecutor has given to the Kosovo Police to initiate the case in the direction of criminal work “The discovery of official secrecy”, because a media media has published documents that speak of the greatest social distress not only in Kosovo but also in the world providing vaccines against Avid-19.
Know that two are the ways in a normal state to help citizens at the doors to the institutions to provide vaccines, media to report what institutions are doing to this job.
Citizens need vaccines but also truth.
If a media makes a breach in reporting, then there are institutions dealing with them; in this case there is the Council of Written Media. If there is no solution there, it goes on.
But never, ever, ever, in a democratic state there is no place for the first answer to be the prosecution and the police.
In this country we are so far proud of media freedom (which the countries of the region have coveted). In the media, but even political parties have published or called news conferences to publish scandals, harmful contracts, and other situations believed in the interest of public opinion and civic welfare. That was for pride.
There is no reason why this much pleasant atmosphere of free speech and a call to accountability is being reversed by rash actions.
Prosecutor, reverse the wicked decision! Don't turn this republic around!
