Izbica massacre: A month's detention for Muhamet Alidaj, indicted for war crimes

The Constitutional Court in Pristina reportedly has approved the Special Prosecutor's request of the Republic of Kosovo for the appointment of the detention measure in the criminal case against M.A for criminal work “war crimes against the civilian population”.
“For criminal acts of war against the former civilian population and sanctioned with Article 142 concerning Article 22 of the former Yugoslav Socialist Republic's Federative Law (RSFJ) which the law was in force at the time when criminal acts were allegedly committed, this first and sanctioned, even with Article 146 concerning the 31 of the Republic of Kosovo's Penal Code.
