Department of Medicine of the Ministry of Defense in co-ordination with the Ministry of Health today has begun the vaccine against COVID-19 of the KSF medical service staff, including doctors, nurses, as well as its administrative staff and supporters.
At Pristina's improvised vaccine centre at Hall “1 October, to follow closely the development of the vaccine, the defence minister, Armend Mehe, accompanied by the director of the Department of Medicine, Colonel Dr. Tahiraj Jevdet and his cabinet chief Agim Gashaj. Dr. Tahiraj with the staff responsible of the relevant centre informed Minister Mehej of the system and the procedures for implementation of vaccines in this centre.
For his part, Minister Mehej expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the high level of campaign organisation, as well as expressed satisfaction with the beginning of the pre-eminence of KSF medical service personnel in view of specifics of their commitment to the realisation of professional tasks and responsibilities within the KSF, as well as the direct approach to the challenges of pandemic during activities and operations in supporting the civilian authorities and our citizens at any time and situation.
The process of vaccinating KSF medical personnel will continue in the coming days along with the inoculation of medical personnel in the country's health system.
