Vaccines Against COVID-19 produced by Pfizer and Modernna are very effective in preventing cases with COVID and research suggests they should maintain their effectiveness over time.

What remains unclear, however, is precisely as long as vaccines prevent COVID-19, if reinforcement photos may be needed on the way, or if vaccines will have to be arranged to fight against variants in the virus' shows, writes Healthline, transmton Klan Kosova.

In a April 2nd report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) studied almost 4 thousand vaccinated health workers.

They discovered that the ARM's sending vaccines ( m ARN) developed by Pfizer pharmaceutical companies - B NTech and Moderna prevented 80 per cent of the cases after the first dose and 90 per cent after the second dose.

First-line workers in the study were tested for COVID-19 each week for 13 weeks.

Researchers said the lack of positive COVID-19 tests in the research group indicates vaccines reduce the risk of broadcasting SARS-CoV-2 from individuals vaccinated to others.

“Reducing the risk of transmission infection, which can occur between people with asimtomatic infections or between persons days before the beginning of symptoms, is particularly important among health care personnel, the first persons to respond and other key workers and frontline employees given their potential to transmit the virus through close contact with patients and the public” in the report.

There is more and more evidence showing that... the transmission of the virus after the vaccine is likely very low,” told Dr. Health, Susan Bailey, an alergologist and immunologist and president of the American Medical Association.

Protection lasts at least six months, probably even more

Especially, Pfizer - B NTech said clinical evidence of phase 3 following its mARN vaccine indicates that strong immunization continues for at least six months among the vaccinated individuals.

Researchers found that the vaccine was 100 percent effective against serious illness as defined by CDC, and 95.3 percent effective counter COVID-19 heavy as defined by the Food and Bars Administration (FDA).

The vaccine was also found to be 100 per cent effective against one of the main options COVID-19 (known as B.1.351) currently widely circulated in South Africa.

A study that included 12,000 vaccinated persons also uncovered “no serious security concern” with Pfizer vaccine - BioNTech, companies announced.

The good news is that in Pfizer's six-month status report, immunity remains very strong and we predict it will continue to remain strong,” said Bailey.

But it's definitely longer than that. It won't fall just six months later. I would be concerned if efficiency fell by a third or a half. ”

The fact that the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccine remained almost unchanged during the study period is an indication that protection will be sustainable.

“We don't know which camp the COVID-19” vaccine will drop, she said.

If we need a backlog for COVID-19, we know it will be easy to produce” thanks to new mRNA technology, she added.

Bailey said that the vaccines currently used appear to be effective against the 19-pronged COVID variants in the United States. But as the coronary continues to transform, variations can appear that are more resistant.

My “Forecast is that a situation in which we're going to have to have a reinforcement blow in the future is not because the first dose of the vaccine faded, but because there is a new version that might emerge,” she said.
