Ilir Meta becomes alive: Every vote, from Vermosh to Konispol to count

Albania's President Ilir Meta, whose party LSI suffered defeat in the 25 April elections, has at last been declared for the result of Prime Minister Edi Rama's Socialist Party winning. Meta says: Dear citizens of the Republic, on April 25th, you voted to [...]
Meta says:
Dear citizens of the Republic,
On April 25th, you voted to choose your representatives in the Albanian Assembly.
At this point it is very important that this process be concluded peacefully and that each vote, from Vermosh to Konispol, be counted and administered by law.
Until the announcement of the final outcome, political parties and their representatives must testify to discretion and calmness.
My major challenge, especially in the past two years, has been for the Sovereign to express his will freely and for Albania to return to the tracks of Constitution, parliamentaryism, and political normality.
Though alone in the face of all the captured institutions, I managed to make April 25 a peaceful, peaceful day with no scenes of violence and with your massive participation in exercising the right to vote.
Although it seemed an impossible challenge I am happy, April 25th could serve democracy and stability in the country.
Now is the time to close the election process quietly and in respect of the law and then all reflect until September, when new institutions are created, stemming from the 25 April vote.
