Chicago police have published film footage of an officer shooting a 13-year-old boy in a dark alley.
Body camera footage shows the cop screaming “Drop it.” before shooting Adam Toledo once in the chest on March 29th.
The boy doesn't seem to carry a gun in the second he was shot, but the police video shows a gun near where he fell.
Small protests were held Thursday evening about Chicago, hours after the mayor called for calm.
The video release follows with the fatal police shooting on April 11th on Downe Wright by an officer in a suburb of Minneapolis.
This shot has triggered violent protests as the city awaits the outcome of the Derek Chauvin trial, the officer charged in the death of George Floyd.
