Democratic League of Kosovo MP Andmend Zemaj has criticised the Kurti government in terms of managing the situation with the Cavid-19 virus. He said that the deadline for citizens to receive the second dose of vaccine Astra Zeneca is 8 June, while according to Zemaj there is still no confirmation whether the second doses of this vaccine will reach Kosovo.
“This government has lied to Kosovo citizens, saying its priority is the political situation, as any cause turns out to be fraud. It was brought before citizens, received votes, and changed its stance immediately after taking power. We remind the government that June 8th is the deadline for taking the second dose of vaccine, but by the same producer Astra Zeneca and vaccine of this company does not have”, he has said.
Among other things, former Health Minister Zemaj said the government is not informing citizens of the vaccine process.
He even stated that if it continues at this rate of inoculation, this process in Kosovo may not take place until three years of duration.
Unfortunately, citizens are unaware of those who pledged transparency, pledged to vaccinate citizens over 60% of the population. If it continues at this pace, Kosovo will need more than three years to complete the population's vaccine process. Meanwhile, the virus is continuing to infect our citizens”, he has declared.
According to Zemaj, it has criticised the government for even the low number of tests for the Covid-19 virus.
They are dying every day and the amount of vaccines is reduced. Of course, the number of infections comes out small when the number of tests is reduced because apart from reducing them, these citizens are literally forcing them to be tested in private institutions”, Zemaj has said further.
