Haxhiu shows when the Law that seizes unwarranted property may be ready for vote

Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has indicated when the Law for Confiscating Unjustified Wealth is expected to be sent to the Assembly.

She said she believes it cannot be done for a month, but added she believes that by year it will be sent for a vote in the Assembly.

This document concept is very important for Kosovo and its citizens because Kosovo continues to be a corrupt country, not only because we say so, but also in the reports of international organisations. We have senior officials who, for a short time, have become millionaires, never believed that they will account for the wealth they have acquired inexcusably. We will take full care not to be abused by this law. I don't know if we will be able to finalize it within a month, but I believe that within this year the same will be voted in the Kosovo Assembly”, Haxhiu said. /Periscopi/
