Haxhiu for former KLA soldiers at The Hague: We'll publish the expenses for those people.

Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has said she will publish the expenses for each accused in The Hague.

She said they have not been able to deal with again because former Prime Minister Haradinaj's decision has not allowed, but that decision has now been changed by Prime Minister Albin Kurti. “With former Prime Minister Haradinaj's decision we have been unable to make public only for persons how many budgets they received for their defence.

So in this direction, in co-operation with the Prime Minister's Office now, the decision has been made by Prime Minister Kurti to allow access to separate expenses to these persons, she said.

The change of this decision under Haxhiu will allow access to the expense of each of the accused at The Hague.

“Those persons receive a budget in line with legislation in force. There is no need to hide how much budget has been shared for which person. Even in co-ordination with Prime Minister Kurti we have abolished that decision and we need some changes in administrative instruction, and after seven days after publishing in the Official Journal anyone who wants access to it could have”, Haxhiu said.
