Haradinaj remembers the “Zegoci fight”: It was the last spring in captivity

The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has remembered Zegoci's “Battle on 22nd anniversary.

Through a post in his Facebook account, Haradinaj said that remembering today the Battle of Zegoci, we honor the contribution of the Operative Zone of Karadaku, resistance, sacrifice and the fall of her best sons.

Blood season and last in captivity!

April 15, 1999, marked many events that led to the continuation of the war for freedom.

As the enemy was preparing for a large-scale operation, against areas Karadaku, Llap and Nerodimes, the mighty of the Army Liberation of Kosovo provides an example of courage and readiness for sacrifice towards the realization of the century-old dream.

The falanges of the last fascist state in Europe, the rage of losing on the fronts of war everywhere, are exploited by the worst savagery against unarmed citizens.

Remember Martyrs fallen in Slovenian's Lipjan and the Bosnian Quarter in Mitrovica. More than two decades of justice has not yet been put in place. We will not stop our efforts for those who committed these crimes to receive due punishment.

Today, our every effort in building up the country is inspired by the heroism of freedom fighters and the sacrifice of martyrs.
