The big deal made yesterday's decision at the Kosovo Government meeting over the reduction of additions which pensioners received.
Finance and Transfers Minister Iron Murani has said that from yesterday's 20m-euro package approved in the government, much of it is set aside by 8.5m euros to support pensioners who receive under 100 euros, as well as social assistance families.
As for additions to basic pensions, the government in time of campaigning had made a decision to allocate 30 euros for only three months (January, February and March), and after March, there have been no planned layers.
Murati stressed that with the new package, 8.5m euros have been added, where the previous government had budgeted 0 euro extensions.
He also added that all pensioners would receive without yesterday's decision would be the amount of 75 to 90 euros, as planned in the 2021 budget approved in the Assembly.
Complete explanation:
Explaining yesterday's decision on additions to social and pension schemes
Out of yesterday's 20m-euro package approved in the government, much of it has been earmarked to support pension schemes received under 100 euros, as well as households in social assistance.
As for additions to basic pensions, the government, last year in campaign time, had made a decision to separate from 30 euros for only three months (January, February and March).
And after March, the additions were meant to stop altogether.
With the new package, we have added 8.5m euros, where the previous government had budgeted 0 euro extensions. So for the months of April, there were no planned additions.
All pensioners would get without the government's decision yesterday would be a total of 75 or 90 euros, as planned in the 2021 budget, welcomed in the Assembly.
The Ministry of Finances, Labour and Transferences has seen that for the categories of pension schemes they receive under 100 euros there are categories of 75 euros and 90 euros to apply an additional amount, so that the total amount of pension is 100 euros.
These additions will continue throughout the year, just as support for social assistance beneficiaries.
