Finance, Labour and Transfers Minister Iron Murati has spoken to the media after the government's meeting where the 6m-euro fund was approved to help businesses that have been damaged by the pandemic.
We've made three decisions or a package of approximately 20m euros to help, or however little we can ease the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic in our country. More precisely, it is a fund of 6 million euros that will be earmarked for gastronomia, closed malls, fitnes, gyms, and interurban transport co-operatives. This measure will cover wages and rents, as we have said as much as 50%, the application will be made as it was last time, and beneficiaries will be workers in the case of salaries, while tenants will benefit from 8x1>, Murati said, broadcast Periscopi.
He has said that health workers and the security sector will benefit from the rest of the fund.
The next “decision concerns wage support for the health and security sector. There will be additional 150 euros for the health sector for April and May, and 100 euros for the aid staff. For the security sector, it is about 100 euros additional for April and May for those who have been committed to implementing measures in the field and are directly exposed to the risk”, the minister has said.
The government's third decision has been to continue supporting pension and social schemes, where families who are on social schemes will have 30% additions. /Periscopi
