Negotiations between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and auditors failed earlier in the day, prompting them to make the decision to suspend work until 8 April.
Even though they demanded that their situation be not politicised, Prime Minister Edi Rama and President Ilir Meta issued mutual charges blaming each other for the situation.
Minister Belinda Balluk said everything is within the electoral campaign to block vaccines, which would come tonight at Rina Airport.
