This has come as the EU considers that AstraZeneca has failed to respect its contract to supply mutually-19 vaccines and not to prepare a sustainable “ ” plan to secure remittances in time, the European Commission indicated on Monday.
All 27 EU member states have supported the move, writes The Guardian, followed Periscopi.
The EU spokesman said at a news conference:
The “Commission has launched a legal battle against AstraZenecas on Friday.
Some of the terms of the contract have not been respected and the company has not been in a position to come with a stable strategy to ensure dos delivery in time.
We want to make it clear that there is a quick delivery of sufficient doses for European citizens who have this right and are promised on the basis of this contract. ”
