Education Affairs Recognition Dukagjin Pupovci has been named Deputy Minister of Education and Science.
The news has been given by the Centre for Education of Kosovo (KEC), which Popovci has been leading for many years.
“Dje, on April 5, 2021, during the meeting of the Kosovo Education Centre Steering Board (KEC) has been approved by Mr. Dukagjin Pupovci from the position of executive director of KEC, in which he served for 21 years, witnessing professionalism and commitment. From today, Mr. Pupovci will continue to offer his contribution to advancing the education system in Kosovo, to the quality of deputy minister at the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and innovation”, the report said.
The KEC has announced that the current U.D. director of this organisation has been named Petrit Tahiri.
Several civil society members who opposed the appointment of Arberie Nagavci at the helm of this dictatorship had proposed that Popovci lead this ministry.
