The road will not appoint the security centres' chiefs in Montenegro, Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic said, commenting on the reaction of a part of the public after Haris Djurdjevic was appointed police chief in Pljevlja.

After listening to the Special Police Department, Dritan Abazovic said it was necessary to check what it was all about, and what were the motives of such a reaction from the public, whether it was professional or personal references they were, he says, less important.

“We will not be able to function if a certain political option, which does not like certain appointments, organises protests”, Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister Abazovic said.

If professional release is the reason for the protest, he claimed, then it is disturbing and should be considered, reports rtcg.

There is no immune, no problem to replace them if there are conditions for it. And I condemn the chauvinist and nationalistic messages heard by a smaller group of people. This does not contribute to peace and coexistence”, Abazovic said, adding that citizens certainly have the right to express dissatisfaction but that it is unacceptable if motivated by religious or political affiliation.

We remember that citizens protested last night in front of the Pljevlja Security Centre because of Haris Djurovic's appointment as the new police chief in that city, while the Nova Pljevlja Committees Democrats, The DNP and the Movement for Pljevlja demanded that the government cancel the decision to appoint Djurcheviqi.
