Dress: Massive vaccines occur by the end of June, endanger total blockade

Infectologist Shemsedin Dresaj at today's Parliamentary Commission for Health meeting has said that mass vaccine should occur by the end of June. According to him, if such a thing does not happen, the country risks entering total blockades. Dressey further stated that health should be a priority of [...]

Dresaj further declared that health should be the priority of the Government of Kosovo.

The government must first draft and hand over legislative strategy to the country so that we as the Commission can start working on the basis of that strategy. We criticize the lack of vaccines for our citizens. Massination should occur by the end of June or risk entering total blockades. If the vaccine does not occur, then there is the danger that all countries in the region will block Kosovo and that should be extremely disturbing for us”, Dresaj has said.

In terms of the request that has been submitted to the Commission by the Federation of Kosovo Health Unions for financial support, Dresaj stated that this requirement is completely legitimate.

The doctors must not be heroes on paper alone but must be heroes in the work. Health personnel subsidies should be increased, not the opposite. In fact, increasing subsidies should only be short-term solutions, because we must insist that the Law of the Salaries should come to the Parliament as soon as possible, and through this law health personnel are offered solutions that deserve”, Dresaj said.
