This huge influx is also considered a bearer of Covid-19 in Kosovo, despite anti-Convidian measures imposed by the government.

Now citizens are starting to return to the country, with cʹrast at the Morina border checkpoints becoming long columns.

Following numerous criticisms against the government, Kosovo Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu has been declared.

He has said the new measures against the spread of corruption have not caused the influx of Kosovo Albanians to spend the weekend in Albania.

According to him this weekend in Albania, some 29,000 citizens went, while in April 2019, when there were no pandemics, the Albanian state had been visited by about 30,000 citizens.

The sunny weather this weekend lured thousands of Kosovars from Albania to at least relax freely following the new measures the Kosovo government took to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Under the April 5th executive decision, citizens who went to Albania for the weekend will not need a test or a veto when they return to Kosovo.
