European Union for Foreign Policy High Representative Josep Borrell has congratulated Vjosa Osmani for the election at the helm of the Kosovo presidency.
After that, Borell stated that with the newly elected institutions, Kosovo can now focus strongly on dialogue with Serbia.
“Urime Vjosa Osmani for choosing as Kosovo President. The European Union continues to support Kosovo on its path towards EU integration. With the new institutions in the country, Kosovo can focus on determination in the necessary reforms and EU facilitated dialogue”, he said.
It should be commemorated that Vjosa Osmani was elected president of Kosovo last night with 71 votes and 11 abstentions.
