Bogujevci added that other bills should be revised against the Istanbul convention.

“It is the bill against domestic violence that is a very important bill and should be pushed forward especially now that we have the Istanbul Convention within the Constitution of Kosovo and not only the law against domestic violence but other laws that should be revised against the 911 convention.

We also have the petition bill that has returned to the first point that we must proceed. We're a commission called on petition and we still don't have a law regulating this part. Of course, the issue of undiscovered persons is a very important topic, but there are other topics”, Bogujevci added, for EO.

Parliament Vice President Saranda Bogujevci said the number of reports of domestic violence is disturbing, and for that it is very important to proceed with the law. She stressed that there are many major problems in our country, and therefore the family violence bill and the issue of child protection must be taken into account.

We have many major problems in our country. It's disturbing that on a daily basis we have reports of domestic violence and I think that we have to give importance and that's why it's very important to proceed with the bill as quickly as possible”.

“The issue of child protection. I'm believing that through the commission that we're going to put a lot of things forward to”, she said.
