The call for pause came after six vaccinated persons had developed rare disorders involving blood clotting within two weeks of the vaccine, reports the New York Times, broadcasts the Kosovo Clan.
Six vaccinated were women between the ages of 18 and 48. Among these, one woman is dead and another is in critical condition for life.
But experts, while viewing these side effects as rare, will recommend the disruption of the Johnson&Johnson vaccine until AUB and QKPS scientists learn the reason for these side effects.
For now these side events seem to be extremely rare”, said Dr. Anne Schuchat deputy head of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
According to US QKPS data, 9 million people have been vaccinated with Johnson&Johnson.
